Taco, Hotdog & Hamburger Stands:
Things haven't changed, you get what you pay for, which is well-prepared and cheap food of course. So when hunger strikes out on a stroll just belly up to the cart and say "the works please".

All of the major hotels have restaurants and I am sure that there are others we have not mentioned. If you find something wonderful please let us know. Be sure to ask before ordering if you wish to use a credit card. Some of the smaller places don't use plastic!

Remember that the "'iva" is like our G.S.T. Your tip is over and above this. Please tip well - the wages have not gone up to cover the peso drop. The people survive on your generosity!!

Grocery shopping: there are three supermarkets. One is a very large market that is on the way to the airport. There are wonderful bakeries and lots of fresh produce. The public market is fun an inexpensive. Be sure to ask us about "where to shop" to insure you get the best bang for your buck!!!

Enjoy yourselves - we know you will eat well!
